Meghan + Matt | Willow Creek Olive Ranch

Meghan and Matt.....ahhh where to start. To say their wedding was incredible would be an understatement. The details were over the top, from canned champagne to a multi talented audience, nearly any of them could step up to be a part of the band. Did I mention how cool the shoes where?! Not just Meghans, but lots of people's! And the love, there was love in abundance....you'll just have to see for yourself!

Nelson, their French Bulldog was the ring bearer, I think he's been my favorite ring bearer to date!Jackson Browne played....he's fabulous, and pretty cool to see right there in front of me, I got the chills...All of this at the lovely Willow Creek Olive Ranch
Delicious delectibles by Trumpet Vine
Cake by The Cakery
Music in the slideshow by the lovely Dawn Lambeth

Well I'm off to Oregon for a few days to visit some friends - I hope to blog along the way! Have a super weekend.

where have I been?! + fun paper details

I took a little break from blogging, not intentionally, it just happened. but I'm back and have lots to catch up on! I think I'll start with some amazing paper goods I've received lately from my wonderfully creative clients....

First up are Megan + Matt's Wedding Invitation....clever they are, with setting the "stage" (so to speak) for the whole theme of their wedding with their invitation. Throughout the wedding they used 4 key icons; their French Bulldog, Nelson, who had an important part of the wedding, the ring bearer. An accordion, which is completely appropriate, you see Megan and Matt are both connected to the music industry and had and amazing line up musicians playing their wedding, including an accordionist (wow I guess that is a word!). Third they had the olive branch, because the wedding was at an olive ranch and then there was the top hat, I forget who the top hat belongs to, but it's one of their friends for sure! All tied together with yellow, which you don't see used often in weddings as the primary color, but let me tell you, it was absolutely STUNNING! Just wait till you see the photos from the wedding...

Next up! Natalie + Carson....super fun idea here. For their "save the date" they created an old fashioned newspaper. The Wedding Times, tells how they met, the weather forecast for the weekend of their wedding, details on where to stay and even has a cross word puzzle pertaining to their relationship and good times.

Spingtime at French Camp

Gunny Highway is in full force this time of year, throughly enjoying the sunshine and more rural areas we live near...occasionally assisting at photo sessions like this one (images from session coming later), and hanging out with good friend, Turbo. It's a dog's life, I tell you...

Sumer + Mike | French Camp

Last week we went out to French Camp take some casual photos of our good friends Sumer & Mike and their dogs, Turbo and Lucy. We had fun shooting with the dogs and Dan as their entertainment. I just wish we had arrived a little earlier so we had more of that fabulous lighting!

Rioja Ranch

Recently I went to lunch with my friend I hadn't seen in a while, Kellie. She was telling me about the most awesome job she has managing this new ranch rental. Well, it's not just a ranch rental when I saw it, so I thought I'd share. This place is very private and beautiful and would be perfect for a pre-wedding stay, getting ready for the bride location, wedding night, or if you live in the area, just a place to stay away and vacation "at home." The location is really convenient for any 46 east-side wedding, since it's just off Union road. Rioja Ranch, check out their website!
